Graduated in International Relations at the University of Minho in 2003. She started her career at the University of Minho as an administrative assistant at the Department of Economics in 2004. Between 2005 and 2007 she was a fellowship holder at the Department of Civil Engineering at UMinho. She was executive secretary of ASCP - Portuguese Association for the Safety and Management of Bridges, from 2007 to 2015, and in 2012 she was Advisor of the Administration of Fundação Cidade Guimarães, institution responsible for the organization of Guimarães 2012 - European Capital of Culture.
She is currently working at the School of Architecture of UMinho. The main functions are: secretary of the PhD Program; secretariat of the Centre for Studies of the School of Architecture (CE-EAUM); provides support to the EAUM Presidency.
