Instituto de Design de Guimarães
The School
of Architecture, Art and Design of UMinho presents the book "Portuguese
Design through a plurality of objects". The presentation session will take
place on April 20th, 5:00 pm, at IDEGUI's MDPS room, in Guimarães.
The book will be presented by Joana Quental, Designer and Associate Professor of the Department of Communication and Art of the University of Aveiro (DECA).
The
publication presents a selection of 39 objects by Portuguese product designers,
ranging from furniture and lighting to accessories. A local and global
dimension that proposes a look into the future of Portuguese design through
material and immaterial values.
On the same
occasion, the closing of the exhibition "Portuguese Design through a
plurality of objects", held at the Design Institute, will be marked.
