PhDs in Architecture develop competences, skills and research methods applied to the field of Architecture. Through the use of conceptual and methodological frameworks, which contribute to the broadening of the disciplinary field of Architecture, the student develops original, pertinent and scientifically relevant research, according to a precise and applied research object and in a chosen area of speciality.
Duration: 6 semesters (180 ECTS)
2 plans (or alternative paths) for obtaining the degree of Doctor in Architecture:
Two (2) initial academic semesters with compulsory attendance of training courses, and
4 semesters with tutorial supervision of the Thesis
2. Plan B:
Six (6) semesters with tutorial supervision of the Thesis.
