Green Gap
Academy: International Lecture
Within the framework of the Green
Gap Academy, EAAD and Lab2PT are hosting the international lecture: "Between
Urban and Rural: Green Infrastructure in the Euroregion – Research and Design
Scales and Practices." The event will take place on April 13th,
starting at 2:00 PM, in EAAD’s Auditorium 1.
Part of the European project Green
Gap (Interreg VI-A Spain-Portugal), this event serves as a strategic
platform for training local government technicians, territorial planning
professionals, and students. The primary goal is to strengthen skills in
designing nature-based solutions and implementing climate change
adaptation strategies.
The session will feature three
renowned experts in Architecture and Urbanism:
- Cristina García Fontán (UDC): Focusing on the integration of green
infrastructure and cultural landscapes.
- Luciano Alfaya (Estudio MMASA): Expert in small-scale
strategies for cross-border territories.
- María Fandiño (MF.PAISAXE): Winner of the National Architecture Prize '22,
discussing the scales of "Green Superstructure."
The final debate will be
moderated by Cidália Silva and Ivo Oliveira.

The Green Gap project is
co-financed by the ERDF and involves a consortium of 11 Galician and
Portuguese partners dedicated to promoting the ecological transition and
sustainable planning of our Euroregion.
