The Bachelor in
Product Design welcomes, on March 20 at 16h00, the lecture entitled “Between
Architecture and Design” by Carvalho Araújo.
This lecture is
held within the 1st group of sessions of the curricular unit of Seminar – Cycle
of Lectures of the Bachelor of Product Design, academic year 2017/2018, at
IDEGUI.
Carvalho Araújo
Graduated
in architecture from the Faculties of Architecture of Porto and Lisbon, he
began to work as architect and designer with the architect Siza Vieira. In 1996
he founded the Carvalho Araújo atelier in Braga (Portugal). His provocative
method, both in architecture and product design, determines the search for new
scales, typologies and markets. In 2013 he founded the atelier in São Paulo
(Brazil). Currently he also assumes the position of consultant and creative
director in several companies. He is assiduously invited to participate in
exhibitions, conferences and congresses, he was awarded both nationally and
internationally in the area of Architecture and Product Design.
