Next Wednesday, March 23 it will be held the lecture “design Thinking: Reflections from doing real world research” by Alison Burrows, reseacher at Lab2PT (EAAD/ICS).
The lecture will take place at Auditorium 1 of EAAD in
Campus of Azurém, in Guimarães.
Alison Burrows has a degree in Equipment Design from the
Escola Universitária das Artes de Coimbra (EUAC), and a PhD in Design from the
University of Loughborough (United Kingdom). She is currently the principal
researcher at the Laboratory of Landscapes, Heritage and Territory – Lab2PT
(EAAD / ICS). Her research area is in Inclusive Design and User Experience,
with experience in user-centric design approaches to obtain requirements for
future technologies and services. She has been involved in several research
projects, including the interaction design and evaluation of health-related
mobile apps, such as an app to monitor fluid intake and an app to record
activities throughout the day.
