(Guimarães) welcomes the event UMix # 2 on April 19th, at 10a.m,
with the workshop entitled “Fronteiras” (Boundaries), which intends to reflect
on the inclusion through art.

with the workshop entitled “Fronteiras” (Boundaries), which intends to reflect
on the inclusion through art.
The event, organized by the Assistant Professor of
EAUM, Paula Trigueiros, aims to the promotion of UMinho’s different
sensibilities and creative skills to reflect on the current critical issues. In
addition to the mentioned workshop, projected to reflect on the “challenges
that emerge from our confrontation with diversity in today's society - in life,
in the city, in everyday life", this edition of UMix will also feature
Oscar Malta, presenting a short introduction to the video art entitled "Images
without boundaries" and then, together with Ana Araújo, it will be
organized the activity "The skins I live". Also, at 12:30 pm, the
book "TOM: Porto - changing the world in Porto" will be presented.
The book, reflects the first Portuguese "marathon" with the TOM brand
(Tikkun Olam Makers), held in Oporto in June 2017, and it is dedicated to the
creative development of solutions for people with disabilities. The book,
published and sponsored by LAB2PT - Laboratory of Landscapes, Heritage and
Territory, will be presented by Fernando Moreira da Silva (Faculty of
Architecture, University of Lisbon).
