EAUM
For the third consecutive year, the School of Architecture of the University
of Minho opens applications for the Free Drawing Course, by Max Fernandes * and
scientific coordination by Natacha Moutinho *. This drawing initiation course
covers different techniques, materials and processes, supported by the idea
that drawing is a graphic expression that seeks its matrix in the observation
of reality.
In this year of the free drawing course we divided the program by study
subjects - Object, Space and Human Figure / movement - in order to deepen ways
of seeing-understanding-drawing based on different themes / contexts.
The 30 continuous weekly sessions are open to the general public, but
specifically aimed at those interested in drawing, including high school
students wishing to pursue the fields of Art, Architecture and Design.
*Max Fernandes, artist and teacher, has developed his artistic practice on issues such as
invisibility, studio and work through expressive means such as video, drawing
and performance.
*Natacha Moutinho, Director of the new Visual Arts Degree, PhD in Design
from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon.
