Located in the center of Guimarães, on Rua D. Afonso Henriques, is Garagem Avenida, a renovated space that opened in February 2022.

Garagem Avenida, a space spread over four floors, offers visual arts courses, including the Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts, the Master's Degree in Visual Arts Education, and non-degree programs in the arts.

In addition to the educational spaces, Garagem Avenida includes a series of workshop spaces and an exhibition space called the Gallery.
