Who can apply for the Master's in Teaching Visual Arts in the 3rd Cycle of Basic Education and in Secondary Education? 

  • Holders of a Bachelor's degree or a qualification equivalent to 120 ECTS in Visual Arts or related areas, in accordance with current legislation, obtained in higher education institutions; 
  • Candidates with only 75 per cent of the total credits. Enrolment in the curricular units of the Specific Didactics and Initiation to Professional Practice components, including supervised teaching practice, is conditional on obtaining the missing credits; 
  • Holders of degrees from foreign universities recognised as equivalent qualifications for access, following a curricular assessment to be carried out by the Course Committee.
Registration:
Registration in the Written and Oral Portuguese Language Test (PLP) is automatically effective after the application for the Master's Degrees in Teaching on the Academic Portal. 
Candidates who have already been approved at the University of Minho or another higher education institution are exempt from the test

Venue: Zoom Platform 

The oral tests will be held via Zoom platform. Each candidate will be informed in due time of the date and time of his/her test and also of the link to access it. 

Note: Candidates must have the video camera switched on during the oral test and must carry an identification document (Citizen's Card or other), which contains a photograph and signature.
