The Nuno Portas Library (BNP) opened in 2013, allowing students to consult the book collection donated by Nuno Portas to the University of Minho. The BNP assets also includes the collection by Jacques Gubler as well as others that have been generously offered to EAAD over the years.
Currently BNP has a collection of approximately 11,000 copies. The quality and specificity of its assets, led BNP to be considered a national reference for research in the area of architecture and urbanism.
