​The Design Institute of Guimarães- Association for Economic Regeneration - is an institution dedicated to design research, integration of design into product development, specialized training and promotion and dissemination of industrial products incorporating design. It is also an open platform for communication between industry and designers, industry and knowledge-producing centres, aiming to economic development through design.
